Postcards of Deniliquin

A couple of postcards were uploaded on to the main page but here you can have a look at a some more for your enjoyment.

Feel free to save a copy of any of the pictures for yourselves, knowledge is power just be honest about where you got them from if you’re showing them off on Social Media.

As you can see, there is a bit of variety here, from the Waring Gardens to the Water Tank at Memorial Park, Bridges, Town Hall and Hotels.

The above picture is of Town Hall when it housed the Regent Theatre, one of the movies showing is Boys Town which was a hit for Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney.

The above postcard is amusing because it says “Deniliquin on the Edward River, N.S.W on the front and Deniliquin on the Edward River, Victoria on the back, it is actually a common mistake because Deniliquin has the Victorian phone code, plays in Victorian Football competitions and gets Victorian TV.
