Nothing had changed for the old Burchfield’s building when we had taken this picture in October 2024 compared to our look in 2023, it is nice that such a building is left alone by vandals who love to wreck an empty building.
One fuel pump still had a meter on it, and it reads 64770471 litres, would have to guess that it means it had pumped out 64,770,471 litres in its lifespan.
Hopefully one day the building will be occupied, and the facade is given a repainting especially where the Holden signs occupied the wall for decades before they were taken down.
